Binding Tariff Information (BTI) in the EU

A Binding Tariff Information (BTI) decision can be requested for a specific good and provides legal certainty about the correct tariff classification of that good by the relevant Customs authority. In order toobtain a Binding Tariff Information (BTI) decision in the EU, a formal application must be submitted to the relevant EU Customs authorities.
