This Regulation shall apply to plastic materials and articles and parts thereof that:
a) consist only of plastic,
b) consist of two or more layers of materials, each material consists only of
plastic, which are connected together adizive or in any other way,
and the final state of the product, are or have been determined to be in contact with products
food.
This Regulation shall not apply to materials and articles composed of two or more layers, one or more of which does not consist only of plastic, although defined layers come directly in contact with food products made ??only from plastic.

This Regulation sets out the purity criteria for food additives authorized some as E101 (i) Riboflavine, E 101 (ii) Riboflavin-5'-phosphate, Tartrazine E 102, E 104 E quinoline yellow, E 110 sunset yellow FCF and E 122 Azorubine, Carmoisine.
